Here are the ingredients: 1/2 kilo chicken breast, or any part you prefer, boiled 1/4 kilo chicken liver boiled 3-5 cups chicken broth 2 tbsps cooking oil 2 mediumm Onion, sliced 2 tbsp garlic, chopped 1/2 kilo Petchay Baguio 2 medium Carrots 2-3 stalks celery with leaves, sliced 3 pcs whole eggs, cooked into scrambled 3/4 cup Patis 1 pouch Achuete Powder salt & pepper 1/2 to 3/4 kilo Sotanghon Noodles (Vermicelli Noodles)

How to Cook the Best Kare-Kare

A very well known Filipino dish, this delicious stew is cooked in a savory thick peanut sauce with oxtail, beef meat or tripe, and lots of vegetables. No feast celebration is complete without this special dish in the buffet table. But this has become an almost anyday dish, because there are several versions of Kare-Kare. 

The best condiment for Kare-Kare is the sautéed shrimp paste (bagoong alamang). Just like the other Filipino dish, Kare-Kare is best eaten with hot steamed rice.


Special Kare-Kare Recipe
Ingredients:
·         1 kilo Ox tail
·         ½ kilo mask, tripe or beef meat
·         1 tbsp. oil
·         1 tbsp garlic, chopped
·         1 large onion, diced
·         2 sachets Kare-Kare mix
·         1 cup of peanut butter
·         1/4 cup grounded toasted peanuts
·         1 tablespoon atsuete/annatto powder
·         2 pieces eggplant, sliced 1 inch thick
·         1 bundle Bok Choy (Pechay)
·         1 bundle of Sitaw
·         1 bundle of Petchay

Sauteed Shrimp Paste Recipe:
·         2 tsps cooking oil
·         2 medium onion, sliced
·         5 pcs ripe tomatoes, sliced
·         3-4 tbsps cooked Bgoong in bottle
·          1 tbsp calamansi juice
·         1-2 tsps white sugar

Fresh Lumpia or Lumpiang Sariwa, is again one of our family's favorite. Bukod sa healthy sya kasi puro gulay ang halo nya, masarap pa siya. Balot sa Lumpia wrapper or hindi, masarap pa rin. Another traditional Filipino Soup Dish is known for its sour and savory flavor. It is loved by almost all Filipinos, and is a comforting dish for me and my siblings while we were growing up. I hope you will try and like my style/recipe of “Sinigang na Baboy”. This is just a very basic recipe, "pang-madalian", but you can add other vegetables you prefer.

Very easy to prepare dish, you can omit the meat and still, this will be a very tasty dish. We always crave for Tortang Talong and look forward to cooking it as often as we could. This goes perfect with Banana Catsup.

Cheesy Fiesta Potato | Taco Bell Style

We love Taco Bell's Cheesy Fiesta Potato, it is actually a side dish but just the same, we love love it. This recipe is an upgraded version of it and gave it our twist on it.

TUNA COOKED IN COCONUT MILK | PAKSIW NA TAMBAKOL SA GATA

A different style of cooking Yellowfin Tuna, simmered in spices with a bit of vinegar then adding the creamy coconut milk, gently simmered till it's fully cooked with the green chilies and pechay greens. Our family's favorite :)

Ingredients:
1 kilo Yellow Fin Tuna / Tambakol, cleaned and cut into serving pieces
2 tbsp garlic, chopped
2 medium-size onion, sliced
1 pc ginger, thumb-sized, cut into strips (or you may use more)
1 tbsp ground black pepper
2 pcs green chillis
500 grams petchay leaves
1 cup white vinegar or pure cane vinegar (use more it you want the sauce to be on the sour taste)
2 cups coconut milk (pure coconut cream, you may use more)
Salt to taste

The Best Spaghetti Salad (Simple & Delicious)


This is a very simple recipe yet very delicious, been preparing this since we were still small. Making this brings back a lot of happy memories especially during the holiday season. I hope you'll like it too!

Ingredients:

450 grams spaghetti noodles, cut into 2 inch length

½ - 1  cup cheese, cubed

3-4 tbsps pickle relished

 1 cup Pineapple, crushed

2 cups Mayonnaise

1 whole Chicken breast, boiled, shredded

BAKED ROYAL CREAM DORY



Ingredients:
3-4 whole pcs. Fish Fillet (Cream Dory, Lapu-Lapu or Tilapia)
Salt and Pepper
1-2 big pcs White Onions, cut into rings
3-4 tbsps Olive oil

Tomat-Onion Sauce Topping:
2-3 tbsps  Olive Oil
1 tsp garlic, chopped
2 medium Onion, chopped
1 small pouch Tomato Paste
Seasoning granules (optional)
½ cup water (or more)
Salt and Pepper


1-2 cups Lady’s Choice Mayonnaise (or more)
