TUNA COOKED IN COCONUT MILK | PAKSIW NA TAMBAKOL SA GATA

A different style of cooking Yellowfin Tuna, simmered in spices with a bit of vinegar then adding the creamy coconut milk, gently simmered till it's fully cooked with the green chilies and pechay greens. Our family's favorite :)

Ingredients:
1 kilo Yellow Fin Tuna / Tambakol, cleaned and cut into serving pieces
2 tbsp garlic, chopped
2 medium-size onion, sliced
1 pc ginger, thumb-sized, cut into strips (or you may use more)
1 tbsp ground black pepper
2 pcs green chillis
500 grams petchay leaves
1 cup white vinegar or pure cane vinegar (use more it you want the sauce to be on the sour taste)
2 cups coconut milk (pure coconut cream, you may use more)
Salt to taste

BAKED ROYAL CREAM DORY



Ingredients:
3-4 whole pcs. Fish Fillet (Cream Dory, Lapu-Lapu or Tilapia)
Salt and Pepper
1-2 big pcs White Onions, cut into rings
3-4 tbsps Olive oil

Tomat-Onion Sauce Topping:
2-3 tbsps  Olive Oil
1 tsp garlic, chopped
2 medium Onion, chopped
1 small pouch Tomato Paste
Seasoning granules (optional)
½ cup water (or more)
Salt and Pepper


1-2 cups Lady’s Choice Mayonnaise (or more)

Creamy Tuna Pasta



Ingredients:
2 tbsps garlic
1 big Onion
1 big green bellpepper
2-3 tbsps butter
1 can Solid Tuna in Vegetable Oil
1 pouch All Purpose Cream
1 can Mushroom Soup

For the Roux: (Creamy Sauce)
4 tbsps butter
4 tbsps All Purpose Flour
2 cups Fresh Milk

500 grams Spaghetti Noodles (or any pasta you prefer) cooked according to package instructions.

Fish Fillet & Tofu with Black Beans




Ingredients:
1 block tofu, cubed (or more)
500g fish fillet (Cream Dori or labahita), cut 2 inches wide, 2 inches long
salt and pepper, to taste
2 tbsps flour
1 whole egg
2 tbsps corn starch

1 cup cooking oil

1-2 tbsps cooking oil
3 cloves garlic, peeled/minced
2 small onions, sliced
1 cup Button mushrooms, sliced (optional)
1 medium carrot, sliced
1 small green bellpepper, sliced
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp Oyster Sauce
2-3 tablespoons black beans/tausi, mashed
1 cup water (or juice of canned mushroom)
1 cup Young Corn, sliced (optional)
Few slices of ginger (about a thumb size)
2 tbsps cornstarch, diluted in ½ cup water
1 tsp sugar (optional)
Salt & pepper to taste
