Ilocos is captured in drone and it's breathtaking!

A Philippine region that fuses the beauty of nature and our history together, Ilocos is given a fresh and exciting perspective by awesome videographer Christer Isulat. With his drone and hand-held camera, he went to shoot the key destinations in Vigan, Laoag, and Pagudpud.

The preserved architecture of Calle Crisologo, Bantay Tower, Quirino Bridge, and the dancing lights fountain are some of the spectacles documented for Vigan. The sand dunes in Laoag lets you have an exciting time aboard a monster 4x4 and unlimited sandboarding time. Laoag is also the home of Malacanang of the North as well as Paoay Church. Pagudpud is famous for its windmills, Patapat Viaduct, Dos Hermanos Islands, Saud Beach, Blue Lagoon, Burgos Lighthouse, and Bantay Abot Cave.

These destinations are an easy visit with the three main provinces easily accessible from one another.

This video was in collaboration with Biyaheroes and Partas Transport Company with hopes of encouraging tourists to visit these commute-friendly destinations and to take public transport when visiting. Instead of a very long drive, Biyaheroes lets commuters book and even choose their bus seats online, saving everyone from the hassle and the stress of planning their trips. They are in partnership with Partas that offers direct and roundtrip Manila to Vigan, Laoag, and Pagudpud buses with terminals in Pasay, Sampaloc, and Cubao.

With the blazing heat of the sun and the longing to see provinces that offer everything from history, adventure, and food trips, why not escape and book your Ilocos bus tickets now? Laoag na magdalawang isip pa! :)

Tree Top Adventure has six outdoor activities which offer a different experience for every thrill seekers. If one wants to relax, then, one might try the Canopy Ride, a ride similar to the concept of cable cars. The Trekking and Skywalk is good for adventurers who just like to walk and appreciate the beauty of nature. Want to fly like a superhero? Then one might want to try the Superman Ride, a horizontal motorized zipline in which you’ll be flying once backwards and once forwards. Or, Silver Surfer Surfer might be for you in which you’ll be standing on a specialized platform and glide up and down diagonally for multiple cycles.

Want to try more extreme? The Interactive Free Fall will. You’ll be going up and be dropped down suddenly when you reach the 100 feet mark.

The Tree Drop also offers the same extremeness rather; one will be suspended 60 feet parallel to the ground and be dropped as fast as 2 to 3 seconds.

McDONALD’s Frontera Verde

Location : Julia Vargas, Ortigas, Pasig City

A very cozy branch of McDonald’s, I must say this is a very good example of what a McDonald’s store should be. It opened middle of 2009, and yet it has become one of our favorites.  It is a 24-hour store.

They have Mc Café inside, so while children are having their own favorite McDonald’s Meal, parents can have a decent cup of coffee with a delicious pastry.

This branch has a big open-air space upstairs, also ideal for hanging out at night or for children’s party as well. It has ample parking space outside for free, and if that’s full, there’s an adjacent big pay parking lot beside it. And to top it all, there’s FREE wi-fi.

My daughter had a blast in the  McDonald’s Kiddie Crew Program here last summer and looking forward to the next one...

it's a sweet sweet memory  ...
