S'mores Dip (Easy Recipe)

This is a very easy recipe, we don't even need an oven, well just use an oven-toaster.  The kids will surely love this for their snacks, even grown ups enjoy this gooey delicious dip.

Even the ingredients are so simple, you might have them in your pantry anytime.  We just need the following:

Graham Crackers

Marshmallows

Milk Chocolate or
Dark Chocolate

All Purpose Cream

Aluminum Pan or any Baking Pan

PROCEDURE:

Arrange the graham crackers in the
bottom of the pan to serve as crust and protection
for the chocolate when we bake it.

We can now prepare the chocolate

We can melt the chocolate in a small pan over low fire
or in the microwave

I also added some All Purpose Cream to
make more gooey

Then spread the melted chocolate on top of the graham crackers

Then top it with marshmallows

Cover it with foil before baking it

Checking it from time to time if the mallow are soft already

Bake it until the top is golden brown

Turning it once in a while

Tada!  Looks so delicious

My nephew just cant wait to taste it :)

The kids loved it :)

Kuya J Restaurant (SM Marikina)

During one of our visits to SM Marikina Branch, we noticed a new hole in the wall resto - Kuya J Restaurant.

Kuya J offers Filipino cuisine such as Pocherong Tagalog, Bulalo, Kare-Kareng Bagnet, Crispy Pata and Beef Caldereta, etc.  We got curious, aside from the reason that we’re really hungry, we’re at the right place at the right time J

The place is cozy,  not that big, but the dining set-up is comfortable and it seems like a homey atmosphere, not to mention the nice and welcoming staff.

The walls are amazingly covered with wooden boxes as bookshelves filled with books with various topics.

Had a hard time deciding which to order as they all look delicious, we ordered the following---

Calamares with Garlic Mayo Dip  (P180.00)
They served it freshly fried, crispy and soft to the bite

Pinakbet (P170.00)
We wanted some veggies and craved for some Pinakbet

Plain Rice (P120.00/platter) good for 3-4 persons

Pork Sisig (P190.00)
Delicious according to my daughter who is not really a Pork lover, she said there are crunchy bits of pork skin without being too oily and the  spicyness is just right.

One of Kuya J’s signature  dishes is the Crispy Pata according to the Waiter. The skin is so crunchy and delicious served with their semi-sweet vinegar concoction.  The waiter even helped serve and cut up the Pata into serving sizes in our table.  They have 2 sizes, the Regular which is Ph485.00, and their Family size is Ph650.00.  We ordered the regular size.
We were not feeling too adventurous that day, so we ordered the usual, and I must say that they really have a good menu for home cooked Filipino food.  Overall we loved everything that we ordered.     And their servings were huge enough to be shared by 4-5 people.

We were so full, in fact we did have some left overs and took them home,  didn’t have the chance to try some of their desserts, maybe next time!

IT’S THE MOST WONDERFUL #MerrySMChristmas TIME OF THE YEAR!

Christmas is remembering the Reason for the Season – it is celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, sharing His love and reaching out to others. And it is also spending time with those you love, those who are important and most dear to your heart.

For our family it has been some sort of a tradition to go to SM Supermalls during Christmas Season for some Family bonding and have our pictures taken around the mall. The atmosphere is so festive, you can hear the Yuletide carols and enjoy all the beautiful decorations around.

We have gathered so many sweet and precious memories through the years, and these memories have brought us closer together… memories to last a lifetime.

We also enjoy sitting in a coffee shop watching people passing by with their families, seeing their happy faces, enjoying simple things in life.

The kids were so excited to see the decors of Megamall and we brought them there the other day and have some Cousin Bonding.  We're definitely coming back for our Christmas Tradition with the whole family.

If you’re planning to shop for gifts for your loved ones & friends, please support  SM Cares Bears of Joyfor only P200.00, you get to keep one bear and donate the other to children of various orphanages and charitable institutions through the SM Cares Program.

I love the new SM Video showing “How #MerrySMChristmas Begins” featuring Cheska and Kendra Kramer. Please check-it-out guys!

This is how SM Supermalls prepared to give only the merriest Christmas for everyone! There are lots of surprises and activities lined up for the entire family throughout the season!

If you want to know the schedule of events in all SM Supermalls, you may visit the SM Supermalls Page  for more details on events this season.

May your Christmas be filled with meaningful times for you and your family as you take time to celebrate the gift of Christ. And may the magical memories you’ve created as family and friends gather together remain in your hearts forever.
