The Joy of Art Maki by Jannet and Bubble Man

Attending an event is a great opportunity for me to meet new friends, or see my blogger friends again and update each other and get to know them better.

I was so happy to receive an invite from Mommy Joy Mendiola to attend “The Joy of Art Maki by Jannet and Bubble Man”, we’ve been together a few times during events, and I always thought that she’s a very nice and jolly person, not to mention her OOTDs are just awesome, thus I look forward to seeing her photos and videos on facebook, Instagram and would visit her blog “Occassions of Joy” often.

Joy was a former Human Resources - Recruitment and Training Specialist, a Marketing Supervisor, and she is now an Events Consultant of Occasions of Joy Events, and a Joyful Lifestyle Blogger of www.occasionsofjoy.com and on top of all that, a happy and proud wife and mom of 3 beautiful kids.

The intimate event was held at the Tokyo Café, located at the lobby of GoHotels in Edsa, Mandaluyong. The café was an ideal place for friends to meet over great coffee and they also serve authentic delicious Euro-Japanese cuisine.

We started The Joy of Art Maki by Jannet and Bubble Man intimate event with a prayer, followed by short introduction of all guests and bloggers.

Friends from Mikewell World of Household Products Company, headed by Ms. Jen Dizon, talked about Bubble Man Dishwashing Liquid, it's history as well as advantages of using this eco-friendly dishwashing liquid.

All the attendees were so happy and went home with a basket full of Bubble Man Dishwashing Liquid.

Maki Sushi making hands on demo immediately followed, Ms. Jannet taught us how simple it is to make Sushi :)

I love Maki Sushi, and was I so surprised to learn that we’re going to do an actual hands-on and try to make our own maki.

Because of this love for those things, she thought of setting her focus on food art and documenting her creations through photography. And a photobooth biz , arts and crafts making on the side.
